        • 9ice9ice (born Alexander Abolore Adegbola Adigun Alapomeji Ajifolajifaola, on 17 January 1980) is a Nigerian musician. He is a south-westerner from Ogbomoso in Oyo State but he grew up in the district of Bariga in Lagos. 9ice won the award for Best Hip Hop Artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2008. At the third edition of the Hip Hop World Awards held in Nigeria, he won the Revelation of the Year award and Best Male Vocal Performer. A month later at the first SoundCity Music Video Awards, he was nominated in the category of Best New Artist. 9ice's biggest single is titled "Gongo Aso". He is the founder of Alapomeji Records. In 2014, 9ice revealed that he was going to contest for a political office in his native Ogbomosho in Oyo state. He joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) and declared his interest to contest for a seat at the Federal House of Representatives. He lost out during the primaries. 9ice was named as a Special Adviser to the Oyo state Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Bisa Kdei self produced some of these collaborations from his studio; Chingam by Sarkodie, One of Your Own by Efya, Pimpinaa by Obrafour, etc. Bisa Kdei on December 21, 2013, launched his 16 track debut album which is still getting massive sales on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and other international music marketing platforms as well as the local markets. The album dubbed Thanksgiving debuted at or near number one in Ghana. It was preceded by the single Odo Carpenter. On June 16, 2015, Bisa Kdei released the lead single, MANSA, off his second album titled BREAK THROUGH. The song paved way for a successful second studio album, which was released in December 18 2015, under his record label, Black Legendary Music. The album which has 10 songs is available on all music selling platforms.. Bisa Kdei is currently preparing for the release of his third album, which he titles KONNECT. The album is aimed at connecting him and other African artistes sell the culture to the world. He is also dedicating the KONNECT project to his music lovers. Bisa Kdei released LIFE, a song which features award winning Nigerian artiste Patoranking off his upcoming KONNECT album.         • BrymoOlawale Ashimi (who prefers to be called Olawale Olofo'ro; born 9 May 1986), better known as Brymo, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and composer. He started recording music in 1999, while in secondary school. He signed a record deal with Chocolate City in 2010, but breached his contractual agreement with the label in 2013. Brymo released his debut studio album, Brymstone, in 2007. His second studio album, TheSonOfaKapenta, was released in 2012. It was supported by the singles "Ara" and "Good Morning". Brymo's third studio album, Merchants, Dealers & Slaves, was released on 20 October 2013. It received generally positive reviews from music critics and was preceded by two singles: "Down" and "Eko". Tabula Rasa was released as the singer's fourth studio album on 30 October 2014. Its lead single, "Fe Mi", was described as a "soft traditional ballad". On 8 December 2015, Brymo released an eight-track compilation album titled Trance. He signed an international distribution deal with Tate Music Group in 2015. Brymo released his fifth studio album, Klĭtôrĭs, on 9 May 2016. It comprises 11 tracks and was preceded by the lead single "Happy Memories".

        • D'princeCharles Enebeli (born 23 October 1989), better known by his stage name D'Prince, is a Nigerian Afro pop singer, songwriter. D’Prince was born to Collins Enebeli, a Business man and a musical production manager and the founder of the record label Sagitarious Productions and Patience Enebeli an international Business tycoon and he is the younger brother of music mogul and CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy. Music has always been in this family and he is not strange to the Music business and D'Prince is also known as Omoba which is a Yoruba language which means a Child Of A King. As a tribute to his mentor Fela and Bob Marley, D'Prince uses a fusion of Afrobeat and Afropop to bring his music to life in honor of his mentors. D'Prince has recorded a whole lot of songs for Mo' Hits Records and also the Mo' Hits Records compilation album Curriculum Vitae which was released in December 2007. It included hit singles, "Booty Call", "Close To You", "Masquerade", "Stop The Violence", "Igbe Mi", "Hey Girl", "What You Want To Do To Me", "Oh Noo", which was the lead single. On 25 November 2009, D'Prince released his single titled "Omoba" and was relaunched in 2010. On April 13, 2010 the official Video of the song "Omoba" was released. Under the record label Mo' Hits Records. D'PRINCE moved to Mavin Records after the dissolution of Mo' Hits Records in 2012.

        • Di'JaHadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di'Ja, is a Nigerian singer, visual artist and songwriter. She is currently signed to Mavin Records. In 2009, she released her first single "Rock Steady" which was nominated for Best Urban/R&B Single at the 2009 Canadian Radio Music Awards. Moreover, she won the Best New Artist award at the 2008 Beat Music Awards. Di'Ja has lived in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, the United States and Canada. Her mother is from Northern Nigeria and her father is from Sierra Leone. At a young age, Di'Ja committed herself to academia and earned a double degree in Biology and Psychology. After earning the aforementioned degrees, Di'Ja found passion in music, art and philosophy. Her music career started in 2008. In 2012, Di'Ja released several singles including "Dan'Iska (Rudebwoy)", "Hold On (Ba Damuwa)" and "How Can We Be Friends". On February 14, 2014, Don Jazzy announced the addition of Di'Ja to Mavin Records. Her first official single under Mavin Records was also released on February 14, 2014. The song, which is titled "Yaro", is an up-tempo celebration of love and commitment against all odds. It infuses Hausa and Krio dialects in honour of her Nigerian and Sierra Leonean roots. In May 2014, Di'Ja was featured on "Dorobucci" alongside label mates Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Tiwa Savage, D'Prince, Korede Bello and Reekado Banks. In May 2014, an animated video was released for "Dorobucci". Di'Ja was featured on "Arise" alongside Don Jazzy and Reekado Banks.

The public became aware of them after they decided to participate in the Abuja auditions of the 2013 Glo X-factor competition, just as they finished writing their secondary school final exams. They were the second group to be evicted from the competition, following the exit of another group, The SmoothBoiz. After their eviction, a little welcome party was thrown for them. Popular music acts, Bez and Burna Boy, who attended the reception, commended the twins for their impressive showings at the X Factor competition, and advised them to work relentlessly towards realizing their dreams.         • EfyaJane Awindor (born 10 April 1987), better known by her stage name Efya, is a Ghanaian neo soul vocalist, songwriter, performer and actress from Kumasi. She is the daughter of Nana Adwoa Awindor, a filmmaker and celebrity host of the late television show Greetings From Abroad. Efya got her first exposure to fame when she participated in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future talent show. She won the Best Female Vocal Performance category at the Ghana Music Awards in four succession, beginning in 2011. He is a member of the defunct Nigerian hip hop group Plantashun Boyz, along with BlackFace Naija and TuFace (better known as 2face Idibia. The group split up in 2004 and each member of the group has gone on to launch solo careers. Faze is a best-selling Nigerian artist. His first album Faze Alone sold over three million copies, while his second album Independent has sold over 7 million copies. His third album Originality went platinum in its first month of release. He is the first Nigerian artist to have three consecutive platinum albums. Faze is known for his ability to sing the highest vocal note out of Nigerian contemporary male musicians . His collaborations include a recorded single with Wyclef Jean titled "Proud to Be African". In 2011 Faze made his acting debut starring in the lead male role of 'Lovechild' in the critically acclaimed Nigerian movie Alero's Symphony.         • Korede BelloKorede Bello (born 29 February 1996) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter currently signed to Mavin Records. He is best known for his hit single "Godwin", a semi-gospel and pop song which topped many music charts in Nigeria. Korede (English:"harvest") was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, where he completed his primary and secondary school education. He started performing at the age of 7 and went by the stage name African Prince. While in primary school, Korede Bello went on to write his first song after forming a music group with a friend. He started music professionally by recording songs in the studio while in secondary school, and eventually released his first single "Forever". He studied Mass Communication at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and holds a National Diploma certificate. Korede Bello is an Associate Member of the Institute of Information Management.         • L.A.XDamilola Afolabi (born April 10, 1993),[1] known professionally as L.A.X is a Nigerian recording artist. L.A.X started out as a rapper and was part of a three-man group called Flyboiz while he was still in high school. On August 20, 2013, L.A.X signed a major-label deal with Starboy Entertainment[2] moments after releasing the critically acclaimed song titled "Caro" which won him the "Diaspora Artiste of The Year" at the 2014 edition of the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. Damilola Afolabi was born in Lagos State, Nigeria. He had his secondary school education at Turkish International School, Lagos where he formed a music group called Flyboiz, releasing a single titled "Busy Body".[4] With the view of furthering his education, L.A.X left the group to study in the United Kingdom where he started recording songs and shot few videos.[5] In 2012, L.A.X released his first major single "Jaye" which featured vocal appearance from Ice Prince. Upon his return to Nigeria, he met Wizkid through his stylist and went on to sign his first professional recording contract with Starboy Entertainment in 2013.[5] On 20 August 2013, L.A.X teamed up with Wizkid to release his first single under the imprint titled "Caro" which gained massive airplay and further ushered him into the Nigerian music industry.[6] "Caro" gained massive airplay and was critically accepted among music critics.         • Mr EaziOluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade (born in Port Harcourt), known professionally as Mr Eazi, is a Ghanaian-based Nigerian singer and songwriter. An internationally performing artist signed to Wizkid's StarBoy Worldwide label, Mr Eazi has collaborated with famous names in the Ghanaian music industry, such as Sarkodie, Efya, and Pappy Kojo. In 2016, he was controversially excluded from the annual Ghana Music Awards because he's not a Ghanaian citizen. In 2016, he was awarded by WatsUp TV with the 2016 WAMVA Special Recognition Award announced in Accra.         • Mr RawOkechukwu Edwards Ukeje, better known by his stage name Mr Raw (formerly Dat N.I.G.G.A. Raw), is a rapper from Southeastern Nigeria. He is often regarded as one of the pioneers of Igbo rap, a genre that now appeals to a broad, mainstream audience. Born and raised in Enugu, he gained prominence during the early 2000s rapping in the Igbo language and Pidgin English. Raw's debut studio album, Right & Wrong, was released on 7 August 2005; it experienced commercial success and helped propel him to the next level in his career. A second album Everything Remains Raw followed in 2007, paving the way for future performers in the genre. His third studio album End of Discussion was released in October 2010. The album yielded the hit song "O Chukwu" whose music video won Best Afro Hip Hop Video at the NMVA Awards that year. Despite his fame as a solo artist, Raw has collaborated with numerous other musical artists including Flavour N'abania, Duncan Mighty, Phyno, Illbliss, 2Face, M-Josh and Slow Dog.

        • OreziEsegine Allen (born 28 March 1986), better known by his stage name Orezi, is a Nigerian musician from Delta State. He rose to prominence with his song "Rihanna" in 2013. Esegine Orezi Allen was born in Owhelogbo, Isoko, Delta State, where he grew up with his family. He is the first of five children. He attended the Command Secondary School in Abakaliki. He graduated from the University of Lagos and completed the mandatory one year NYSC program. Orezi began his music career in early 2009. He has worked with several producers, including Kiddominant, Del B and Dokta Frabz. Orezi's first musical release was "I No Fit Lie". The music video for the song was shot in South Africa. When the song was r,eleased and sent to radio stations across Nigeria, it received great acknowledgement from the public. The song became Radio Continental's theme song. Subsequently, Orezi headlined a show named after the song. The show was organised by the Continental Broadcasting Services (CBS), owners of Radio and TV Continental. In 2010, Orezi released "High B.P". The music video for the song was endorsed by MTV Base. In late 2010, he released another single titled "Jamilaya", featuring UK disk jockey DJ JamJam. Like its predecessors, the song received rave reviews. In early 2011, Orezi was featured on the track "Emoti" alongside Danagog, Igho, and DJ Debby. He was featured on Jatt's "Komije" single alongside Sauce Kid, Muna, and Igho. Orezi released the music video for his song "Booty Bounce" which featured cameo appearances from Karen Igho, Bovi, Wande Coal, Kay Switch, Sina Rambo, Vina, Danagog, Skuki and General Pype, among others. For several weeks, the song was one of the top ten African songs on Trace Urban, Channel O, and MTV. The music video for the song received a nomination in the Reggae/Dancehall category at the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards.

They were nominated at the 2013 BET Awards. Both born and raised in Tema, east of the country’s capital city – Accra in Ghana, West Africa. Paedae is the CEO and leader of the group, whilst Mugeez is the lead vocalist. The two cousins, who have been together their whole life, lived in the same house and also attended the same primary, junior and senior secondary school in Tema. Simi was born in Ojuelegba, a suburb of Surulere, as the last of 4 children. In an interview she granted to Juliet Ebirim of Vanguard Newspaper, Simi revealed that she grew up as a tomboy before the separation of her parents when she was 9. She is an alumnus of Covenant University where she studied Mass Communication. Simi grew up dancing and singing as a member of her local church's choir until she wrote her first song at the age of 10. Her professional musical career started in 2006 following the release of her debut album titled Ogaju which contained songs like "Iya Temi" and "Ara Ile" with the entire musical production from Samklef. In January 2014, Simi released an EP titled Restless which gained her new grounds and further earned her a record deal with X3M Music.         • SkukiSkuki is a Nigerian Afro hip hop duo composed of two brothers: Tumininu Laolu-Oguniyi and Atewologun Laolu-Ogunniyi. They are also known as Vavavoom (Tumininu) and Peeshaun (Atewologun). The brothers were both born in the 1980s in Oyo State, Nigeria. They attended The Staff School, University of Ibadan and The International School, University of Ibadan. The duo developed an interest in music shortly after they graduated from secondary school.[2] Shortly after that, they had to part ways as Tumininu went to study Geography at the University of Lagos while Atewo studied Law at the University of Ibadan. Their father is a musician, director and producer. Recognizing their talent he involved them in a nationwide awareness tour of the War Against Indiscipline (WAI) program where they performed in the presence of the then Head of State, Gen Ibrahim Babangida and other notable Nigerians. He then featured them in a TV commercial for Sungass in 1988; the result showed that the boys were a natural at entertaining. Noting them to be raw talents waiting to be tapped, he involved them in Children Celebration Theater (CCT), a TV series and a host of other short plays. These activities increased their confidence in front of the camera, added a little to their acting skills and made them some money. They then featured in the 'Census 91' advert. They have always worked together, composing and recording over 40 songs. The brothers reunited in 1999 in preparation to start a music career under the name "Skuki". Their debut single, "Fire" stayed on the Africa Edition of the Channel O Top 10 Chart for four months and was number one for four consecutive weeks. Their singles "Stamina" featuring Mo'Cheddah and "Banger" featuring DJ Zeez brought them awards and prominence. Skuki had another hit for 2013 "B.A.D", an acronym for "Beautiful and Different". The video for "B.A.D" was shot in Cape Town, South Africa and premiered on MTV Base Africa and Soundcity, gaining airplay on terrestrial and international music channels and garnered over 130,000 views on YouTube under one week of its release. They released a club and dance track which they titled "Voom-Va" which featured the Nigerian rap artist Phyno. "Voom-Va" was on most charts on radio stations across Nigeria and was a popular club song. Their current single "Gbemileke" features production skills by producer Shizzi, and has received airplay in Nigeria and other African countries. The video for the song was released in June 2014. The song has traditional Fuji baseline and the video was shot in South Africa.
